Video WIIFM

Video on a website does not work miracles. Communication works miracles. Once we realize that nobody goes to a website to be impressed, or be entertained, the notion of using video takes a different path. As business owners, we become so obsessed with our own story that we forget the cardinal rules of advertising; what’s in it for me (WIIFM). The Magic 8 ball says SEO is Dead?

Ask The Magic 8-Ball, Is SEO Dead? This is pretty simple. We only have to look into SEO's past to predict its future. Years ago, even getting backlinks required a knowledgeable web person. Before WYSIWYG editors, you had to at least know how to code the HTML for a HREF. If you draw a line from that time through the current situation and on into the future, what you see is a shift away from web developer tricks, special knowledge, and trickery. What you see is a shift TOWARDS industry expertise, influence, brand recognition, value and in short "reality". SEO Exposed and Explained In fact, SEO is really a smaller, sub-concept under the umbrella the term of SEM. Search Engine Optimization focuses specifically on raising a web property higher on the search results page, to gain more visitors and online traffic. What to Do If You Are Sued--How to Prevent Lawsuits There are few things that can ruin your day as the getting a notice that you’ve been sued. Some put it up there stress wise like moving or getting let go from a job. Getting sued can make your blood pressure rise, make you dizzy and even a little nauseous. There were  15 million plus lawsuits filed in the US last year, that works out to about one in every twelve adults. Being sued alone doesn’t mean that it's an actual issue, especially when you consider all the frivolous lawsuits out there.  For instance: the 8-year-old New York Boy who was sued by His Aunt for a “Careless” Hug or the Animal Rights Group sued on behalf of a monkey for ownership of “Selfies”. And then the bank robber who got shot after...

preroll video

What are YouTube Pre-Roll Advertisements? Pre-roll ads, or in-stream advertising, are a method of advertising through Google AdWords. If you’ve ever watched a video on YouTube, you’ve probably seen the ads before. They pop up before your video and play for five seconds before you can skip them. Pre-roll ads can be interruptive and irritating for the viewers if used incorrectly. However, providing intriguing or helpful content within the ad can result in more customers and better business. Why use this method over others? Pre-roll ads offer some of the best online digital marketing opportunities for businesses of varying sizes because they haven’t been overrun by competition and offer quick results.
